Laura Ewing-Mahoney has been a mission-driven nonprofit leader for over 23 years and is passionate about helping organizations thrive. She is highly adept at assessing organizational landscapes and guiding transformational change.
Over the course of her career, Laura has worked with major donors all across the country, including her native New England, and has advanced organizations focused on higher and secondary education, the arts, museums, disease research, public policy, women’s issues, youth, the environment, literacy, community development, and social services. She is on the Education Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Northern New England (AFP-NNE) and regularly presents on fundraising topics at conferences.
Laura received a B.A. from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
Ann Riley is a seasoned and knowledgeable market research professional with over 16 years of experience helping companies make educated strategic decisions. Her knowledge of both primary and secondary information sources coupled with her keen understanding of development best practices allows us to provide evidence-based solutions to our clients interested in a high ROI.
Among significant previous positions, Ann was director of market research for AXA Financial in NYC and spent many years in market research for Fidelity Investments and Manulife Financial in Boston.
Before joining Sage Advancement Group, Ann was focused on helping nonprofits in her community enhance their fundraising efforts. She is a cum laude graduate of Colby College, Waterville, Maine.
Katherine Schofield has over 10 years of experience working for non-profits. Her work at Sage focuses on assisting clients write compelling newsletters, case statements and appeals. Katherine believes that good communications can empower bold solutions and social change. Katherine has worked for organizations in Chicago, Los Angeles and the Boston Area, primarily in the areas of interfaith engagement, health, environmental protection and worker's rights.
Katherine received a B.A. from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in 2005 and an M.Div. from Chicago Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois in 2010. She is also a graduate of Falmouth Academy.
